The model 1028-XP is SunRADON's most advanced professional grade Continuous Radon Monitor. Its detector technology is based on the trusted 1028 design that utilizes advanced detection algorithm resulting in high sensitivity, while also providing superb immunity to external radio interference. The large, high-definition touch screen interface paired with an on-board Bluetooth module allows for the most flexibility of setup and use yet.
Model 1028-XP is NRPP- and C-NRPP and NRSB approved. This professional grade Continuous Radon Monitor is equipped with a tamper sensor, programmable PIN protection, and can be upgraded with optional Environmental as well as LTE wireless modules, both measuring temperature, pressure, humidity, tVOC*, and eCO2.

All units come with a heavy duty carrying case and a 50 inch tripod. We can deliver in as little as two days, anywhere in the continental U.S.

Need extra units during the busy season? We've got you covered. Rentals are available month-to-month after the initial 90 day term. Rent when you need a unit, send it back when you don't.
HASSLE FREE
No need to worry about calibration hassle or unit downtime. We keep track of your unit's calibration needs! When your unit is due for calibration, we will advance ship you a replacement unit and provide you a prepaid label to return your existing unit for calibration.

How much is the monthly rental? Each unit rents for $99.00/month. Equipped with the Environmental Module, the rental is $109.00/month.

What does the upgraded Environmental Module do? With this upgrade, the unit will measure and report Temperature, Humidity and Barometric Pressure values during the Radon test. These results are fully integrated with the OneRADON desktop and Mobile Software.

What is included in the rental? Rental includes, Monitor, protective case, power cable(s), and 50 inch tripod.

Do I have to pay for the software? Software is FREE! SunRADON provides a great software solution for Microsoft and Apple Desktops and also Mobile Apps for both Android and Apple mobile devices.

Is there a long term contract required? The initial rental period is 90 days. After the initial 90 day rental period, the units are rented on a month by month basis.

How fast can I get a rental unit. We always have units in stock and ready to ship. Same day shipping is available if the rental agreement is completed before 12:00PM.

What if I want to return a unit that is no longer needed? 30 days’ notice is required when returning a rental unit. Rental fees are due until unit is received by Red Dog Radon.

Do I have to sign an agreement? A signed Rental Agreement is required for all rentals.

Are there other charges? Initial payment includes first month rent and a $50/unit shipping fee. If you are ordering more than one (1) Monitor, contact us for a quote on shipping. First payment is due when the agreement is signed. Subsequent payments will be due on the first day of each monthly rental period. Customer pays shipping and handling fees for returning units at end of rental.

Do you charge sales tax? Yes if you are located in Kansas. If you are not located in Kansas, no sales tax will be collected by Red Dog Radon. (Subject to future tax law changes)

How do I pay the monthly rental fee? Payment can be made by Credit Card (4% handling fee applies). NOTE: All financial account information is taken by phone to prevent online fraud.

What if a unit is lost, stolen or damaged? The customer is responsible for loss or damage to a rental unit. The Rental Agreement will have more detailed information regarding the terms and conditions.

What if a unit quits working? While unusual, if a unit ever has a maintenance issue, contact us and we will have a replacement unit shipped by ground freight. The replacement unit will be shipped within 24 hours after you contact us Monday-Friday. It will be shipped with 3-day freight. Expedited shipping offered at customer expense. You use the same packaging from the replacement unit to return the unit requiring maintenance. We will take care of all of the necessary paper work and will include a pre printed shipping label. If it is determined the unit has malfunctioned due to damage or misuse, repair or replacement costs are the responsibility of the Customer.

How do the units get annual calibration completed? It is important and required by standards to keep the units calibrated annually. Approximately 15-30 days prior to a unit’s calibration date, you will receive a replacement unit. Red Dog Radon covers all costs associated to the calibration service (currently $159 plus shipping). You will use the packaging from the replacement unit for return of the unit needing calibration. A Pre Paid shipping label is included for the return unit.

Do you rent to inspection companies needing multiple units? We work with companies large and small, from individual home inspectors to large companies wanting to remove the headache of unit downtime for service and calibrations, or just wanting to augment their capacity during the busy season.

QJ is an InterNACHI Certified Master Inspector based in Kansas City. He founded Red Dog Radon to help Inspectors and Radon testing companies serve their clients radon testing needs. He has years of experience setting, reading and reporting Radon tests. QJ is Certified by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) as a Certified Radon Measurement Professional.
Tucker
Tucker is the Red Dog in Red Dog Radon. He loves to ride along when setting radon tests. He carefully supervises all rental shipping activities.
